A Prize distribution Function was organized to felicitate those students
who have done the school proud by proving their grit in the two
competitive Examinations taken by them - namely Mathematics Olympiad and
Science Olympiad. Alongwith these medals and certificates were also
conferred on those who took the Maa Sharda Quiz competition conducted on
the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand by the St. Vivekanand
Millennium School-Pinjore. Three of our artists who showed their
artistic skills in the Poster Making Competition conducted by ‘Health
Plus’ bagged the First, Second and Third - all the top positions for
their posters displayed in the Art Exhibition put up by the organizers.
These artists got the trophies with certificates. Besides these, the
philanthropic qualities of the students were also appreciated by the 'Destitutde of India' for whom the children contributed wholeheartedly.
The 'Gold' and Silver’ medals alongwith the certificates were given away
to the students by the Principal who congratulated the awardees and
asked the others to get motivated so that they could also find their
names in the list of award winners next year. |
The Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality conducted a seminar for our students
of classes XII and X. The representative gave a presentation on the functioning,
curriculum and the course structure of the school which according to them opens
new and varied avenues not only in the hospitality Industry but in Tourism and
many other fields too. The presentation was followed by a question-answer
session in which the student's querried about the Fee structure, eligibility and
duration of various courses run by the school. It was an informative seminar,
which is bound to play an important part in the 'Field' selection by the
students after XII. Many students seemed interested in taking up the course.
Seminars like this will be organized throughout the session so that the students
are well aware of the options available to them once they pass out of the
school. |
