With an aim to promote the importance of the Constitution, to educate school students about the features of the Supreme Law of India and to commemorate the day the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, DPS Pinjore observed Constitution Day. A plethora of activities were held to honour Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution and to make the students aware about our Constitution. An informative assembly was conducted to mark the day. Speeches, Poems, amazing facts about the Constitution were presented. An interactive Quiz based on Indian Constitution was the highlight of the day. The school Principal, Ms. Amita Dhaka, made the students aware about the significance of commemorating the Constitution Day.
In recognition of Shri Guru Nanak Dev’s 548th birth anniversary and his immense contribution towards communal harmony, students of Delhi Public School Pinjore celebrated gurupurv with great religious fervor and enthusiasm. A special assembly was conducted to make the students aware about the importance of this day. The students of classes Nursery to fifth visited Gurudwara and prayed for the welfare and peace of the nation .They also enjoyed the soulful rendition of the shabads and relished the kraha Prasad. The school Principal Ms. Amita Dhaka advised the students to follow the preachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev and set up a unique spiritual , social and political platform based on equality ,fraternal love ,goodness and virtue.
Fourth time in a row, Delhi Public School, Pinjore has been ranked No.2 Co-ed Boarding School in Haryana by the Educational World India School ranking 2017-18, thus setting another milestone in the field of education. The Education World rates and ranks over 1000 of India’s most high profile schools on 14 parameters. Mr. Amol Arora Member Management Committee and Director of Shemford & Shemrock Group of Schools received the award in the glittering ceremony.
The school was also awarded India’s best school in the year 2016-17 in the ‘Jury’s Choice Award’ category among deserving schools by the educationtoday.co magazine.

Vandana Sharma (HOD English and Coordinator Senior wing) from Delhi Public School Pinjore was honoured with the ‘Best Teacher’s Award’ on the 5th September 2017. She has been in teaching profession for the last 20 years and has been serving DPS, Pinjore since 2003. Ever since she has delivered excellent results for classes 10 and 12 and is appreciated for her sincerity and dedication towards her work. Ms. Vandana Sharma thanked her Principal Ms. Amita Dhaka for her support and guidance. She was felicitated in a function held by the Rotary Club Pinjore Hills at Hotel Classic, Pinjore for her contribution in the field of education.
