The students of DPS Pinjore made the institution proud with their excellent performance in CBSE Class 10 Exam. The school fraternity was overjoyed to know that 32 students got perfect 10 CGPA. As many as 48 students scored above 9 CGPA. The cent-per-cent quality result also gave everyone moments of exhilarations. The result of other candidates with scores of A1 and A2 in all the subjects have set milestones of success.

‘My mother, my friend so dear; throughout my life you’re always near’. In order to celebrate the essence of a mother and to let their amazing Moms know how much they appreciate them for their remarkable strength and perseverance, Pinjore Dipsites celebrated Mother’s Day on 13th May, 2017.This special day was celebrated in the school premises with great zeal, enthusiasm and affection. The students welcomed all the mothers with a melodious welcome song. The specially chosen songs, poems and dances showcased mother’s bond with their child. Many fun filled games and competitions like Cook Smart, Craft Smart, Design Smart, Dance Smart and Ramp Walk were organized to bring a smile on beloved mothers’faces. Mothers participated in all the activities with a lot of enthusiasm and joy. The school counsellor Ms. Deepali Handa shared some valuable tips on motherhood so as to make the bond between a mother and a child stronger. Prizes were awarded to the proud winners. On this occasion the students were also honoured with ‘Star Achiever’ certificate for overall academic excellence in the session 2016-17. Dr.(Mrs.) Bimla Arora, member, managing committee, DPS Pinjore, advised the mothers to be proud of our motherland-Bharat Mata and change their life style to go green, go natural and save smart to serve the bigger mother – MOTHER EARTH for our children to live a better life. The Principal Mrs. Amita Dhaka appreciated the efforts of the students and mothers. She wished “Happy Mother’s Day” to all the mothers.

In order to instill democratic values and teach the students the process of elections and the constitution of Parliament, the School Parliamentary elections were held in Delhi Public School, Pinjore. Students of classes VI to XII actively participated in this process. This mega event commenced with the announcement of Elections. Nomination of the candidates was made by the Class Teacher for Classes 6 to 8 and by the House In-Charge for Classes 9 & 10. Campaigning time was given to the elected students during assemblies and in the first period in classes. The students casted their votes for Prime Minister and six Cabinet Ministers. The final verdict of the voters will emerge with the announcement of the results on May 18. The school Principal Ms. Amita Dhaka motivated the members to follow the path of diligence with honesty and perform their duties with utmost sincerity so as to raise the standard of the institution.
Dance is the original most ancient form of human expression. It is an integral part of human existence and the universal language. Every year International Dance Day is celebrated to celebrate this art form and revel in its universality, to cross all political, cultural and ethnic barriers and bring people together in peace and friendship with a common language – Dance. Keeping in solidarity with the world, DPS Pinjore also celebrated ‘World Dance Day’ with great zeal and enthusiasm on April 29th, 2017. Students presented scintillating dance performances in the presence of the parents on the orientation function organised on the same day. Everyone enjoyed them thoroughly. The Principal Ms. Amita Dhaka appreciated the efforts of the participants.
Research studies have shown that a student is more likely to benefit if there is an effective coordination between the school and the parents. Keeping this in view, an orientation Programme was conducted to give the Parents of new students an insight of the world renowned DPS system of education and an overview of the teaching methodology adopted at DPS, Pinjore. It was an endeavour to acquaint the parents with annual schedule, examination system, the facilities provided, school rules and regulations and plethora of activities planned for the all-round development of the students. The school counselor discussed various psychological needs of the children. Dr. D.R Arora, Chairman, DPS Pinjore and Dr. (Mrs.) Bimla Arora, Member Managing Committee, DPS Pinjore graced the occasion with their benign presence. Dr. (Mrs.) Arora advised the parents on ways of good parenting. Welcoming the parents, the Principal Ms. Amita Dhaka exhorted on the importance of such sessions which help in bringing about a holistic development of the child.
