The students vowed to be more sensitive and responsible citizens. Various burning issues related to the environment were highlighted with the help of the placards put up in the school. A poem dedicated to Mother earth was appreciated and the amazing facts about our planet made the audience more knowledgeable.

There was a working model of Volcano displayed in the “Srishti”, which fascinated the students most, who asked questions based on it. Besides this the fresh water biomes, marine water biomes, fossils, stone age tools, corals, sea shells were an added attraction of the visit. Later on a quiz was organized on the basis of what they saw in Nature Park.

The fast deteriorating conditions of our Environment has made it necessary for all of us to be aware of the delicate balance that exists between different parts of nature for its normal functioning. Only a proper understanding of the forces of the Nature and our negative role in disturbing the balance of Nature can help us protect and preserve the life supporting environment around us. This is the main purpose of “Palash”, which has helped in sensitizing its members to a great extent. They will continue with their effort to save The Mother Earth.
